BE ME OT recognizes that each of our clients has a number of inherent strengths and talents; some known to them and their parents and some not realized. Our goal is to bridge the gap and give parents the support, motivation, and tools to help their neurodivergent family thrive in everyday life.

PARENT COACHING

As a neurodivergent parent or a parent of a neurodivergent child, struggles such as communication breakdowns, relationship stress, and general day-to-day parenting challenges are some of the issues families with neurodivergent family members can face. Jenna will partner with you to provide resources and develop an individualized plan to address you, your family’s, or your child’s unique needs at home, school, work, or in the community.

Who is it for?

  • If autism is new to you and you don't know where to begin.

  • If you want to bridge the gap between Occupational Therapy and home life.

  • If you feel frustrated or confused by your child's school or academic program.

  • If you and your spouse/partner/co-parent need help parenting on the same page.

  • If you are needing help balancing your neurodivergent needs and your child’s needs

  • If things are going well now but you want to plan for transitions, independence, and adulthood.

What are the benefits?

Parent Coaching gives you practical strategies for mindful and respectful parenting while supporting your child to be their best selves. This can include home organization systems, executive functioning strategies, school support and academic guidance, and so much more! We want you to leave our sessions feeling confident, calm, and empowered.

”When we become parents, we often see ourselves as our children’s teachers, but we soon discover that our children are our teachers as well.”
